Some thoughts on consciousness

A new article has just been published in the Annals of Behavioral Science. The article is an interpretation of consciousness from a PCT perspective. You can find the article here:

http://behaviouralscience.imedpub.com/consciousness-as-control-and-controlled-perception-a-perspective.pdf. When viewed through a PCT lens, many of the established queries and puzzles about consciousness disappear. In their place, new questions can be considered regarding the importance of control, how it functions, and the role of consciousness with control. The paper is bound to be confronting in some ways but I hope it will also encourage new ways to think creatively about the current mystery of consciousness.
